Senior Fun Day
Tuesday, August 5 — $10/person
For the first time ever, a Senior Fun Day will be offered during the summer. It has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 5 from 3-7pm. Outdoor activities will include: bocce, painting by the lake, bingo, a sing-a-long, free swim and a sunset supper by the lake provided by the Y. Y Staffers will be on hand to supervise and lead activities.
Enjoy the scenery and the company. Bring your bathing suits, towels and appetites! In the event of inclement weather, we will adjust to indoor activities. A short meeting of the Senior Steering Committee will take place at 2:30pm, just prior to all the fun. We hope those of you who have volunteered to Chair a committee will be available to join us a little bit early. Pre-registration required at the front desk by Thursday, July 31. $10 fee. Members only. We look forward to seeing you — mark your calendars now!
NYC Waterfalls Cruise
Friday, September 19 — $45/person, $50/non-member
Come view this new work of public art on display only through October 13. The exhibition consists of four man-made waterfalls of monumental scale. You will enjoy viewing them from a NY Water Taxi – so close you will feel the spray! Lunch and shopping on your own at South Street Seaport afterwards.
Historic Huguenot St. and Mohonk Mountain House, New Paltz, NY
Tuesday, Ostober 21 — $85/person, $90/non-member
A visit to Huguenot St. tells the inspiring story of an American community as it evolved from the 17th century to the present day. Take an hour and a half tour of this fascinating town and then join us for lunch at the spectacular Mohonk Mountain House. We will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, kitchen tour, self-guided tour of the Barn Museum, Greenhouse and Show Gardens, and end the day with lemonade and cookies before returning home.
Food Historian and Tea Specialist, Judith Krall-Russo talks about the History of Cranberries
Thursday, November 13 - 1pm — $5/person, Pre-registration required
Get inspired and prepared for Thanksgiving at a lecture by one of New Jersey’s foremost food experts. Learn the history of cranberries, why they were so important and why you should include them in your Thanksgiving menu! Early American recipes will also be discussed.

Forget Oprah! We have our own Joy Vottero – literate, articulate, full of ideas. Read THREE CUPS OF TEA by By Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin and then come to the after-party for a lively discussion. Potluck dessert – bring your favorite homemade sweet treat and we’ll provide the coffee!
West Point Tour and Holiday Concert
Sunday, December 14 – $65/person $70/non-members
Take a guided combination bus/walking tour of West Point, brunch at the fabulous Thayer Hotel and enjoy the West Point Band Holiday Concert at Eisenhower Hall entitled, “A Hudson Valley Holiday.” Photo ID required for West Point Security. Register early – this trip is sure to sell out!
