I would like to respond to the review The Brickhouse restaurant received in last week’s Better Living section of The Bergen Record. I have eaten at the new opening of The Brickhouse on three occasions and had nothing but a superb experience each and every time. I was so impressed by the quality of food and service that I even had my wedding rehearsal dinner there for a party of 45. When eating a dinner for two or having a party dinner of 45, both ways the food and service was a cut above any other restaurant in the Wyckoff area. My biggest surprise in the review was that the french fries were one of the best items on the menu. I do agree that the french fries are great, but they are far from the best item on the menu. I have had the T-bone steak and Filet Mignon from The Brickhouse and both steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted exceptional. As an avid reader of The Bergen Record I have to admit that your review of The Brickhouse was way off target. I look forward to enjoying many more meals at The Brickhouse.
