DECLARATION OF WATER SHORTAGE

EMERGENCY RESTRICTIONS

In accordance with the Village of Ridgewood, Ordinance 2632 and at the recommendation of the Director of Ridgewood Water, Frank J. Moritz, I am declaring a Stage III water shortage emergency in Ridgewood, Glen Rock, Midland Park and Wyckoff effective immediately until further notice.

Residents, businesses, governmental agencies and other water users must adhere to Stage III Water Restrictions.

Stage III is defined as follows:

Lawn Irrigation will be limited to alternate days as described below.

7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for manual sprinkler systems and between the hours of 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. for automatic in-ground sprinkler systems.

No irrigation is allowed on MONDAYS at any time.

Irrigation using hand held hose shall be permitted on any day, at any time, except on Mondays.

Irrigation of properties with odd-numbered addresses shall be permitted on odd-numbered days, while irrigation of properties with even-numbered addresses shall be permitted on even-numbered days.
