On June 11, a New York woman was a patron of Dunkin’ Donuts, Franklin Avenue & Everett Avenue; and she reported the theft of her purse from her car. The woman reported that she parked in the lot, entered the store and left her purse on the front seat with the doors unlocked and the windows partially rolled down. The purse was found lying on Meer Avenue; which is a considerable distance away.
The woman had previously taken her wallet from the purse when she went into the store, and nothing else was believed to be missing. A video surveillance of the lot disclosed that the purse was taken by one of two men in their 20’s or early 30’s driving a light blue Hyundai Accent. One of the men has a goatee and tattoos on both forearms. Anyone with information is asked to contact Wyckoff Police 201-891-2121.
