The Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) 21st Annual Golf Classic held at High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes netted more than $97,000. The proceeds of the event will support the Center’s 2010 Annual Fund, which will be used to expand the Rehabilitation Services room in the David F. Bolger Post-acute Care Unit in Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Funds will also be used to provide additional community and visitor space to enhance the patient’s stay in the unit.

Atlantic Stewardship Bank, Aramark Healthcare Management Services, and W.B. Mason once again generously supported the event as Corporate Sponsors.

Platinum Sponsors were Atlantic Business Products, Burke Supply Co. Inc., Fuchs EMS and Medical Transportation Services LLC, New Jersey Respiratory Associates Inc., Shotmeyer Bros., and The Rasa Group.

Joseph Fodi of J. Lauren Custom Builders LLC in Wyckoff scored the lowest gross in the tournament. His name will be engraved with previous winners on a trophy that is on permanent display at the Center.

A volunteer Golf Committee organizes the annual outing. This year the committee was

co-chaired by Rick De Bel and Edward Nieuwenhuis Jr., DPM. Maureen Braen, John Gunther, Bernard Joustra, Anthony Monterisi, Gordon Stanley,  Darcy Bickert, and David Krentel also served on the committee.

The outing was sponsored by the Christian Health Care Center Foundation. Christian Health Care Center has served the community since 1911, providing a broad scope of mental-health and elder-care programs.

The Activities Department at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff recently held a Kid’s Fashion Show where employee’s children modeled summer fashions for residents of Heritage Manor Nursing Home and Southgate behavior-management unit.
